Air Force awards the Air and Space Campaign Medal (ASCM) to personnel involved (after March 24th, 1999) in the U. S. Military operation that was designated by the Chief of Staff of the U. S. Air Force. The ASCM is awarded to Air Force personnel for serving direct support of a military operation for a period of 30 consecutive days or 60 non consecutive days. Qualifying operations include:
