The jars of baluster form with a cobalt blue glaze, hand painted with foliate and flowers, the rim and foot having yellow glaze. Each jar is hand painted with an 18th century portrait of a male figure, each on a yellow ground, both jars with twin handles. Both jars with the pottery maker's mark to the base, condition of both jars is very good, no
