he joined the Guild of San Luca in 1628/1629 and the rhetorical hall De Violieren in 1632/1633 and his style was influenced by Rubens

Antique American Sterling Silver & Baleen Georgian Punch Nog Toddy Ladle 1780 Decorative Arts the frame being of easelA good antique American sterling silver Georgian toddy punch ladle, circa 1780, silver weight 2. 5 oz (71 grams). The ladle having a twist decorated whale baleen handle with a silver cap to the end. The generous round shaped bowl with a flared rim and the intials "WM" engraved in italic to the side of the bowl. Punch was a great favorite at Georgian parties and this ladle would have graced a punchbowl of substantial proportions, due to it's length.
