This is a natural piece of quartz from Brazil that has been artistically polished to get this shape

The last photo is an example of a group of Zambian chrome topaz crystals (this particular piece is shown somewhere in this group shot) displayed under natural light and under a long wave uv lamp to show the fluorescence seen in this material

but this gemmy piece has been looked at by our cutter (Steve Moriarty) and he estimated that this crystal potentially holds 24 carats worth of facet grade cut gemstones inside
