Mid Victorian Bloodstone Intaglio Cat Seal Fob silver This remarkable gold Manu FicaDATE: Victorian, c. 1850 A sweet antique mini seal fob charm modelled as a cat sat up on its haunches on a 3D quatrefoil base. The panel at the bottom is bloodstone agate, intaglio carved with the word CONSTANCE probably for a woman, not the German city in gothic script (constance is an Old French word meaning "steadfastness" or "composure", from the latin constantia "firm standing, steadiness, firmness of character" etc. It's crafted in 15 karat
