The album recasts Hancocks iconic works in a new, live setting, as a basis for both homage and exploration, with Headhunters being a prime influence for leader Marco Cafolla. The album grew out of Jazz FMs Classic Albums series, and was recorded live at the Glasgow International Jazz Festival in June
