SMALL HORSEHAIR CLAY POT Southeast Alaskan artist Artist's narrative: A Timber fallerRich Briggs attended his first pottery. class in 1975, and has been enjoying it ever since. He retired in 2019 after teaching Ceramics at the college level for 25 years. During that time, he was able to travel to Japan, Australia, and throughout the US learning about pottery from different cultures and regions. He now spends his summers in Alaska.
