Victorian Silver Serpent Link Guard Chain three-stone rings and was made circa 1750DATE: Victorian, c. 1890 A superb antique silver guard chain dating from the latter half of the 19th century. It features alternating hoop links and finely textured fancy links that, whether intentionally or not, remind me of little coiled snakes. It's French, fully hallmarked, with a wearable length of 56 inches and bolt ring clasp to add on charms, fobs, etc. A somewhat unusual and fine quality example of the style. MEASUREMENTS Wearable length: 56
