Bear Silhouette Vase - 5" pet Sustainably hand-carved glacial mud fromRaku pottery is created using an ancient Japanese technique of firing which produces the diverse crackling aspects unique to each piece. The raku pottery on this website is created by Jeremy Diller, proprietor of Raku Potteryworks, located in Southern California. Raku pottery is formed from raw clay. It is painted by hand, then fired in an outdoor kiln to 2,000 degrees. Red hot, it is plunged into a pit with mesquite shavings lighting a blaze. The
