By adding this resistor ACROSS the earth ( Pin 1 / brown ) and the indicator signal wire ( Pin 5 ) this then makes the ECU and flasher unit think that all is OK

The 3156 and 7440 type bulbs are shown in the pictures - both can fit in the same base and have the same function only the size of the "bulb" is different

Please note this unit has a CLEAR lens ( for use with ORANGE bulbs )
